In 1959, Herschel Segal forsake the family business of men’s tweed suits to found Le Château Menswear in a small storefront in Montreal. He then pivoted to become the first unisex clothing shop in the country.  One day, he spotted a young saleswoman that stood out from all the rest — and he married her.  Over the decades that followed, ‘Herschie and Jane’ loved each other hard while they rocked between being on the verge of spectacular failure, building a household name, and revolutionizing the North American fashion industry.
